Center for Active Learning

The class will follow Bob from flight school training with helicopters through his tour in Vietnam.  This will include the role helicopters played in Vietnam: resupply, troop insertions, medivacs, and more. He will answer the question: Did he get shot down or crash or both? After the war Bob flew helicopters for construction and the forest service fighting fires and spent 22 years flying for Continental Airlines as a pilot on the Boeing 737.
